Why Nobel Prize is awarded?

The Nobel Prizes are a set of international awards bestowed in categories such as Physics, Chemistry, Literature, Peace, and Medicine. They were established by the 1895 will of Swedish scientist Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite. The Nobel Prizes are widely regarded as the most prestigious awards in their respective fields.

There are six Nobel Prizes, including the Nobel Prize in Physics, the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, the Nobel Prize in Literature, the Nobel Peace Prize, and the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. The Nobel Prizes are awarded annually by the Nobel Foundation, a private organization based in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Nobel Prizes are awarded to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to their fields. The selection process for the Nobel Prizes is highly competitive, and the winners are chosen by committees of experts in the relevant fields. The Nobel Prizes are awarded at a ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden, on December 10th, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel's death.

The Nobel Prizes have been awarded to over 900 individuals and organizations since they were first established in 1901. Some of the most notable recipients of the Nobel Prizes include Marie Curie, who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903 and the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1911, Albert Einstein, who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921, and Martin Luther King Jr., who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.

In addition to the Nobel Prizes, the Nobel Foundation also sponsors a number of other awards and prizes, including the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, the Nobel Prize in Literature, and the Nobel Peace Prize. The Nobel Foundation also supports research and education through its various programs and initiatives
